The Department of Materials Science and Engineering has many state-of-the-art research facilities that benefit faculty, research scientists, and students. These core facilities are physically housed in and administered by the department, by centers, and by institutes or shared with other Penn State research groups.

The MatSE Financial Office assists faculty, staff and students with all University-related financial needs — from the processing of expenditures and reimbursements to the management of research and miscellaneous accounts.
