The Office of the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and Research is hosting a panel discussion on grant writing strategies, modeled after the NSF CAREER Award program. All EMS faculty and postdocs are invited.

This fundraiser is through a company called Terracycle that turns corporate recycling programs into monetary donations to charitable causes. HASBRO is sponsoring a collection of their brand toys and games through Terracycle. By collecting used toys and games, EMS THON can fundraise money to donate to THON. Please bring in any HASBRO brand toys and games to the large box by the front desk of the RFSC between January 13th and the 31st. The winter break is a great time to sort and recycle old toys!
Spring Career Day is the one of the largest collegiate career fairs in the entire country. Maximize your time at the fair by researching who is attending in advance, which companies could be the right fit for you, and which days they are attending. Recommended if looking for Non-Technical, Full-Time, Technical Full-Time, Internships, and Co-ops. If selected, interviews will take place January 29th.

EMSAGE Laureates
Formed in 2009, the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Academy for Global Experience, or EMSAGE, is the college’s signature undergraduate program for fostering experiential and global competence and promoting a spirit of integrity, service, and leadership. By comprehensively embracing these principles, students develop into leaders in their chosen discipline who possess the breadth and maturity to extend their knowledge to address society’s most pressing problems.
NASA's DEVELOP program cultivates the next generation of leaders and Earth observation users. We work with communities and organizations to address environmental and policy concerns through the practical application of NASA Earth science information.
DEVELOP pairs participants with partner organizations for 10-week research projects that connect NASA Earth observations to community concerns.
This info session will be held Wednesday, January. 29th from 5pm to 6pm at 114 Steidle Building.
Open to all students. Food will be provided.
