Do you have undergraduate research or internship research you would like to present? Take advantage of this opportunity to get experience and grow in your presentation skills!
Here is the key, your presentation must be with the time frame of 6 to 8 minutes! Do not finish before 6 minutes or after 8 minutes. Your audience is your peers and STEM industry people.

2022 Undergraduate Student Speaking Contest
Semi-Final Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Final Time: 3 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Come showcase your presentation skills by making a short technical presentation about an aspect of materials science and engineering that you find exciting. Presentations can be based upon work that you have done during a class or internship, or simply on a technical topic that interests you. Interested in participating but unsure what to present? Use this as a conversation starter with your favorite professor!

Cash prizes to be awarded to contest winners are as follows: $500 for first place, $250 for second place, $150 for third place, and $100 for fourth place.
