Sample job ad: The Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University is accepting applications for an undergraduate researcher position. The student researcher will be asked to assist in urban and rural microclimate research. The successful applicants will assist in our work to synthesize tower-based observations and atmospheric models to support ongoing research efforts. Data management and computer-based data analysis skills (e.g., Matlab, Python) are required. Interest and training in atmospheric, environmental or physical sciences, physical geography or engineering is beneficial. The ability to work independently and remotely is required.
