Materials Invitational Golf Tournament

You are invited to participate in the inaugural Materials Invitational Golf Tournament (MIGT).

When: May 13, 2019
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Round of golf; 1:00 p.m.: Lunch & Prizes
Where: Penn State Blue Course
What: Shotgun start, best ball, scramble format

ABOUT
The inaugural MIGT is intended to promote networking and collegiality among all friends of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Having its roots in the legendary Duffers Invitational, the MIGT will be a best ball, shotgun start tournament, with foursomes organized to spread the talent (and lack thereof!) around. All skill levels are welcome, and prior golf experience is not necessary. The Penn State Golf Pro Shop will have clubs available for rent in case you need them.

COST
The cost to participate is listed below and covers greens fees, cart, catered lunch - also eligible for prizes. We are soliciting private and corporate sponsorships to allow the reduced student rate (please see sponsorship opportunities below)

$80: Staff                                                          
$50: Students
