To minimize risk associated with the Delta variant of COVID and keep people safe, we have decided to not have an in-person aspect to Materials Day this year. We have moved forward with a simplified VIRTUAL Materials Day using an engaging virtual networking hub.
Materials Day is designed to share Penn State’s vast materials research knowledge and infrastructure with our industrial, government, and higher education partners. You or a representative from your organization should attend if you want to keep abreast of all that happens around materials at Penn State and to identify graduate and post doctoral students for future positions.
October 12 will feature poster sessions and keynote addresses from industry leaders from Nestlé and Penn State. October 13 will feature a variety of breakout sessions by industry leaders, government experts, and Penn State faculty.
Looking forward to engaging in conversation, collaboration, and learning more about your ideas on where materials, manufacturing, and sustainability intersect!
