Scholarships

Through the generosity of our Alumni and Industry partners, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering has academic merit based undergraduate scholarships, dispersed annually to qualifying freshmen and upperclassmen. In order to retain the scholarship, you must be enrolled full time as an undergraduate Materials Science and Engineering majoring student and making satisfactory academic progress (gpa of 3.0 or above) in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. In the event you withdraw or change departments, the scholarship will terminate immediately.
Scholarships for upper classmen are based academically on your cumulative grade point average at the end of the spring semester. Freshmen, a Freshmen Spring Scholarship could be awarded to you based on your academic performance during the first semester of your freshman year.
