Some details of our proposed REU site activities in the summer of 2010 are summarized in the Table below. REU short research meetings will be scheduled weekly (starting week 5 to allow the student to become familiar with the research area), and include all REU students, graduate mentors and faculty mentors.

(2) Safety Exam Information: MatSE Department Policy requires that all students pass the department safety exam before we can grant access to any of the department labs, which includes the computer lab. Students can prepare for the exam by reading the safety manual located on the MatSE Department website:  http://www.matse.psu.edu/safety/matse_safety_manual.pdf
