Alumna Lucille Giannuzzi becomes a Microanalysis Society (MAS) Fellow

Lucille A. Giannuzzi

Lucille A. Giannuzzi, a 1992 Penn State alum, was inducted into the first class of the Microanalysis Society (MAS) Fellows for her outstanding leadership and sustained contributions to the development of focused ion beam instrumentation and applications for electron microscopy. Giannuzzi is the President, EXpressLO LLC and a member of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering’s external advisory board.

An MAS Fellow is a designation that is intended to recognize eminent scientists, engineers, and technologists in the field of microanalysis of materials and related phenomena who have distinguished themselves through outstanding research and service to the microanalysis community. This includes, but is not limited to technique development, applications, theory development, and distinguished service to the society.
