Tips for staying safe on the web:
Penn State recommends these videos below for learning more about how to stay safe on the web.
Penn State computing policy says that personally identifiable information (PII) can not be stored on any computer connected to the network (University owned or personally owned).
In particular, the policy states that no PII shall be left on a computer at any time. Not even your own. PII includes social secutiy numbers, credit card numbers, passport numbers, bank account information, etc. This includes all files, including email.
Please see the SOS Computer Security Office Website for more information.
Please also become familiar with these related polices. If you have a PSU access account, you agreed to abide by these policies.
