How to Apply

Penn State Students:
Penn State Students must meet the following criteria to participate in the International Internship in Materials Program:

- Completed MatSE 201 and MatSE 460
- Sufficient Laboratory Experience
- MatSE Safety Training
- Semester Standing 5 or above
- Good GPA standing
- Option Advisor Approval
- Completed Application
- Foreign Language capability or reasonable plan to acquire

International Students:
International Students must meet the following criteria to participate in the International Internship in Materials Program at Penn State:

- English Language capability or reasonable plan to gain
- Financial plan to pay for expenses associated with program
- Sufficient laboratory experience
- Safety training
- IIM Advisor Approval
- Full Time Student from a Participating IIM Partner Institution
