Sam received his B.S. in Ceramic Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 1982.  He joined Intel directly from Penn State and has held numerous engineering and management positions on several memory and logic technologies.  New technology and factory startups and transfers has been his area of focus for the past ten years.

Sam and his wife, Michelle, live in Albuquerque, NM with their two children and three dogs.  He enjoys most of all spending time with his family, and golf, mountain biking, hunting, and birding when time allow.
