Scholarship Opportunities
A2 Master Temp

For the academic year 2002/2003 we awarded over $148,000 to our undergraduate students. Scholarships are available to all students who meet the qualifications--including freshman and sophomore students. Most scholarship awards are based strictly on academic merit. However, we do have several scholarships that make provisions for those students with financial need. If you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please complete a scholarship application form and return it to Dr. John Hellmann at the address below.

Students who are currently attending Penn State may print the scholarship application form and return a completed copy to the Undergraduate Studies office in 124 Steidle building. You should also submit a copy to the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences to be considered for College scholarships.
Students applying for admission to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering as freshman will automatically be considered for scholarships on the basis of academic merit and financial need. They do not need to fill out an application form.
