POSTER PRINTING GUIDELINES
1.
Submit your poster(s) to Georgiana Cole via email at cole@matse.psu.edu, along with the Poster Printing Form, according to the time schedule listed below.

If your poster is too large to email, please copy it to an IBM formatted zip disk, a CD or a memory stick and give to Georgiana in 121 Steidle Building.
*Poster Printing Forms are not necessary for department poster contests since the posters remain the property of the department after the contest.

2. Unless you are participating in a poster contest, you will receive an email when your poster is printed. Please stop by 121 Steidle ASAP to review your poster after receiving an email notice. After you approve your poster, the laminating or framing services you requested will be finished and you will receive a final email notice when the poster is ready to be picked up.

3. In order to maintain a unified look for the department, please use the templates to include PSU and MatSE logos for all posters. You are welcome to modify the background on the template with the Reverse Penn State logo (the white one). Logo sizes have been set to print and should not be scaled up.

4. Posters must be 36"x48" in either landscape or portrait page orientation. Posters larger than 36"x48" will not be printed

5. No limit on file size (within reason).

6. Preferred file format is .ppt (PowerPoint), however .pdf, .eps, .ps and .ai are also acceptable. Please check with Debbie if you have something different.

7. For department poster competitions where many posters are being printed, laminated, mounted and framed, please make sure all posters are submitted at least 10 business days prior to the event date. Reminder, we will probably not be able to allow each one of you the time to review your poster after it has been printed, otherwise the process will be slowed dramatically. Posters received for printing are expected to be complete.

8. For individual posters that only need to be printed and/or laminated, submit your poster at least 3 business days prior to the date needed. For example: if you need a poster by Friday at 4pm, submit it by Tuesday at 4pm. This allows adequate time for printing, reviewing and laminating your poster.

9. For individual posters that need to be printed AND framed, submit your poster at least 5 business days prior to the date needed. This allows for printing, reviewing, reprinting if needed and framing services. For example: if you need a poster by Friday at 4pm, submit it by the previous Friday at 4pm.

10. Please contact Georgiana Cole if you have any questions.
